Welcome to CamAccess Technology. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (camaccess.co.ke) and the security installation services we provide, including CCTV systems, access control, video intercom, electric fencing, alarm systems, and gate automation ("Services").By using our website or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.

1.1 About CamAccess Technology

CamAccess Technology is a security and access solutions provider based in Mombasa, Kenya, operating under Bakhashwein Enterprises. We design and install security systems for residential, commercial, and institutional properties.

1.2 Site Surveys and Quotations

All installation projects begin with a site assessment, either in person or based on information you provide. Quotations provided are based on the information available at the time and may be revised if site conditions differ upon physical inspection. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated.

1.3 Payment Terms

A down payment is required at the time of contract signing, as specified in your individual installation agreement. Down payments are non-refundable once materials have been purchased on your behalf. The remaining labor/balance fee is due immediately upon completion of installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Additional materials not specified in the original quotation (e.g. extra cabling, trunking, conduit) will attract additional charges, communicated to you before the work proceeds where practical.

1.4 Installation Requirements

Certain installations require drilling into interior or exterior walls. CamAccess Technology is not responsible for repairing, repainting, or restoring wall surfaces or finishes affected by necessary drilling. For remote viewing setup (CCTV access via internet or mobile app), the customer is responsible for ensuring adequate internet service (minimum 1 Mbps upload speed recommended) through their own internet service provider. Where applicable, the customer is responsible for providing a monitor/screen and router on-site on the installation date, to allow CamAccess Technology to confirm system output. Mobile app configuration or permanent remote monitoring setup requested after the installation date may attract additional charges.

1.5 Cancellation

This Agreement may be terminated by either party at any time prior to project completion, subject to the non-refundable nature of down payments where materials have already been purchased.

1.6 Warranty

Installation workmanship and CCTV components installed by CamAccess Technology are covered by a one (1) year warranty from the date of installation, covering labour and replacement/repair of defective components. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, negligence, unauthorized modification, acts of nature, vandalism, incompatible third-party accessories, or issues arising from renovation/construction work carried out by other parties after installation. Full warranty terms are provided in your individual Surveillance Warranty Agreement at the time of installation.

1.7 Limitation of Liability

CamAccess Technology will exercise reasonable skill and care in providing the Services. However, to the extent permitted by Kenyan law: We are not liable for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g. power outages, internet service interruptions, third-party equipment failure not supplied by us). We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of installed security systems, including but not limited to loss of footage due to internet/network issues outside our control, or incidents occurring despite a functioning security system. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Kenyan law.
